Well, let see what has happened since April 13th.

I took these two turkeys, turkey hunting.

Alisha and Cheyenne went to Prom.

Alisha gave Cheyenne a blue Mohawk before he left for ROTC field Training.

Brittney went to the Favorites Dance.

Brittney and Celsee had their Ballroom Dance Recital.

Amy got rear-ended in the van, Thankfully no one got hurt.

Amy and I celebrated our 18th Wedding Anniversary.

The bathroom got tiled.

Hunter graduated from Joy School and will be starting Kindergarten next year.

Cut, split and stacked 10 cords of wood for the Colonel at the Ranch.

Ants made a home in a shadow box we had in the Garage. 5 miutes in the sun took care of that.

Brittney got a horse, NOT, she just wishes.

I am sure I missed a few things, I only remember these because we have pictures.

Oh ya and I turned 38!

Alisha's Induction into the National Honor Society

Alisha was 1 of 60 out of here class of 650 to be inducted into the National Honor Society on 12 April. She is so intelligent and impresses us with her values and courage. This next year will be full of applying to universities and scholarships.
I am so jealous of her and wish I was half as smart. I can't believe she is all grown up.

Hunter's 5th Birthday

Hunter had his 5th birthday on the 12th of April and was excited with all the gifts he got. He is growing up so fast and amazes us each day with his imagination and talents.

Chaos Continues!

Sorry, I have be side tracked with Facebook as of late and haven't had much time to update the blog. So what have we been up to? Well lets see... We had a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Some snow would have been nice, but this is West Texas, so we got a nice covering of dust. Following the Holiday break we tried to salvage what was left of hunting season, no such luck. We ended the season with one axis doe, two whitetail does and two whitetail spikes between Celsee and I. Now we are just waiting for spring turkey season. January and February were busy with cheerleading and orchestra practices.

Alisha was busy preparing for Cosmo competition. She did an awesome job on her dragonfly hairstyle for her mannequin and her Algonquin fingernail art. She didn't place with her Nail Art, so she doesn't get to go to State, but everyone says she should have taken first place. She thanks Jason Clark for the inspiration.

We were also busy with the family Pinewood Derby at the church. I spent a week on Hunter's Lightning McQueen car and he took third place, I blame the lane for not getting first.

Darby was busy getting ready for her live museum at school, she was Betsy Ross. She did all the research herself and did an excellent job.

Amy and I made it to the range for a double date with some friends. It still scares me that my wife is a better shot with a hand gun than I am. I was fun none the less.

The kids got a snow day from school and had fun making a Snowman. This was the second time we got snow this winter. Global Warming... not to sure that is really happening.

On Valentines Day Amy and I awoke to a walls covered in hearts. The kids got up early and made it a really nice surprise.

I have even found time to mount a few turkey tails.

Needless to say we have been staying busy. I know there are many things I don't remember. Oh yeah, Alisha now has her license to drive, I know, SCARY! Currently, we have begun finishing the bathroom remodel that started last year, look for future updates on that. We are also planning our 6000 mile round trip to Montana and Minnesota this summer. Hopefully it won't take me three months to update the blog again. See ya'll later, and come on back ya'll.
