Another Daughter Hooked

This last weekend was youth hunting weekend. Celsee and Dad went down to the ranch for two days. Saturday resulted in a clean miss at Celsee's first buck. She had buck fever so bad she almost shook out of her skin. Sunday morning was a whole different story! This buck came in at about 75 yards, the first shot hit it high in the back and the second shot put it down. It was a great little 4 x 5 for a first deer. She has already asked to go again. She helped the in skinning and butchering. The steaks were great eating that night. Hopefully the season will be good to us and future post will follow.
